Remeo Rodriguez Catina was born in Santa Ana, Davao City. When he was just seven months old, his mother passed away unexpectedly. Soon after, his father brought him and his nine siblings to Dumaguete City, where they were raised by their grandmother. Sadly, she also passed away due to old age while Remeo was still very young.
Growing up amid hardship and loss, Remeo experienced many challenges early in life. Yet even during those difficult years, God was already at work in his heart and future.
One day, a bold and faithful believer came to his community and shared the Gospel. Through this encounter, Remeo came to know Jesus Christ and accepted Him as his personal Lord and Savior a life-changing decision that would shape his path forward.
He later began serving in full-time ministry, starting at Lapu-Lapu Assemblies of God Church in Cebu. After several years, he moved to Tanjay, Negros Oriental, to continue ministering in another Assemblies of God congregation. Eventually, he returned to his hometown and now serves faithfully as part of the pastoral staff at Maranatha Full Gospel Church Assemblies of God.
Pastor Remeo is known for his resilience and deep commitment to God’s call. Today, he continues to serve with passion, helping others encounter the same hope and salvation he received.
