Born on January 27, 1943, Pastra Avita A. Caballes is a devoted prayer warrior and a respected member of the Maranatha Full Gospel Church. She is fondly known as the “Mommy in the Church,” a compassionate figure who is always ready to offer prayers and guidance to those in need.
I was saved on February 14, 1978, at Christian Fellowship Church, where I first surrendered my life to Jesus Christ. Fifteen years ago, the Lord called me into pastoral ministry under the Assemblies of God, guided by Pastor Larano. Since then, I have been faithfully serving as a Pastoral Staff Member at Maranatha Assemblies of God, where I hold the position of Pastor – Intercessory Prayer Warrior.
Throughout my journey, I have witnessed God’s goodness and faithfulness. He has continually blessed my family with good health, provision, healing, and restoration—physically, emotionally, and above all, spiritually.
My greatest joy and treasure is being always in the presence of Jesus Christ, walking with Him daily together with my family. Truly, to God be all the glory and honor forever.
Pastra Beth graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSE) degree from the University of San Carlos in Cebu City. She further pursued her academic journey by earning a Master’s degree in Philosophy. Currently residing at L. Rovira Road, Dumaguete City, she continues to be a pillar of strength and faith in church.
