Jemsley B. Kabristante was born on May 15, 1981, in Basakan, Pancio M. Anjutod. He encountered the saving grace of Jesus Christ in 1999 at Basakan Assemblies of God, a defining moment that ignited his lifelong commitment to follow and serve the Lord.
Motivated by a deep desire to grow in his faith and knowledge of the Word, he enrolled at Central Visayas Polytechnic Institute (CVPI) in 2001, where he pursued formal biblical and theological training until 2003. He later enhanced his ministry preparation through further studies at Maranatha School. These years of equipping were foundational in shaping his vision and heart for pastoral leadership.
In 2005, Pastor Jemsley answered God’s call to become a Senior Pastor. For thirteen years, until 2018, he served faithfully, leading with spiritual authority, compassion, and vision. His strong leadership helped guide the church through seasons of growth, discipleship, and community outreach.
Today, Pastor Jemsley continues to serve the body of Christ as the Men’s Ministry Leader at Maranatha Full Gospel Church Assemblies of God in Dumaguete City, under the leadership of Rev. Dionessa Linao Agravante. In this role, he is dedicated to mentoring and empowering men to live out their faith boldly and lead with integrity in their homes, churches, and workplaces building a strong fellowship of men rooted in God’s Word and purpose.
